Countdown to Publication
Here is what's going on as we prepare for publication!

Just before spring break, we sent out a draft of this year’s magazine to Starline Printing for publication. This local printing company, involved with the Albuquerque Journal, worked to print, cut, and bind 1,250 copies of the magazine. To get a deeper understanding of the printing process, we had staff visit the facility. Check out the pictures below of our staff taking a tour to get a behind-the-scenes look!
With our magazine being fresh off the printer, we celebrated our WRHC release last week on March 28th in Long Beach, CA. We are now preparing for our local release party on April 19th at 6 p.m. in the Honors College Forum on the UNM main campus in Albuquerque, where we will unvail our magazine to the public. Contributors (those who are being published in the magazine) will be reading at this event. You don’t want to miss it!
Also, we are now accepting staff applications for next year! Joining Scribendi is a two-semester commitment, with a three-credit-hour class in the Fall and another three-credit-hour class in the Spring. Those who want to apply need to be in good academic standing in the UNM Honors College or take part in our Visiting Staff Exchange Program if in attendance at another WRHC school (visit our website for more information). For best consideration, apply by April 15th.
